Virtus.pro advance to EPICENTER 2017 play-offs!
A heroic victory over the FaZe Clan!
The first map was Mirage with Virtus.pro starting on the offense. FaZe claimed first 11 rounds and finished their defense half 13:2. Side-swap was just as fruitless for the Polish side – the lost pistol round and FaZe's economical advantage cornered Virtus.pro. In this dire moment, nobody would have thought that Virtus.pro will bring such an incredible reverse sweep to the table.
Though the pistol round on Cobblestone was yet again taken by FaZe, in the very next round the Polish players already reclaimed the initiative and tied the score. The first half went under the full control of VP – 11:4. FaZe attempted to catch up with our team in the next half – but to no avail. The deciding rounds didn't faze VP – 16:11 in favor of our team.
The spot in the play-offs was decided on Inferno. The Polish started on defense, successfully repelling the enemy's advance – 11:4. FaZe stabilized their score in the second half (12:9) just to yet again succumb to the Polish decisiveness in the crucial rounds – 16:13. Truly a heroic victory for Virtus.pro!
