New VP.Prodigy Dota 2 roster

VP.Prodigy are back in Dota 2! This is not just a new team, but the beginning of a long-term program aimed at scouting and supporting young talent.
While our new academy roster will gain valuable experience through competitive matches, we’ll continue searching for new prospects and giving them a chance to prove themselves in tournaments. Meanwhile, the main roster will carry on competing as usual.

Georgy “drAmer” Faleev, Head of Dota 2 at Virtus.pro:
“On Knowledge Day, we are excited to officially announce the relaunch of the VP.Prodigy project in Dota 2. It’s symbolic that on this day, September 1, we present a new academy roster where the next generation of young players will develop and take on their first big challenges on the competitive stage.
In the past, this project became a springboard into professional Dota for many talents who are still playing at the highest level in various teams. We are confident that we’ll help many more promising players unlock their potential!
Over the past few months, we’ve been working on building the coaching staff and scouting young talents for the first renewed VP.Prodigy lineup. The current Dota 2 ecosystem isn’t very welcoming to rookies taking their first steps on the pro scene. We want to provide the most talented and hardworking players with all the necessary conditions for growth and development.”
Fans will be able to see VP.Prodigy in action soon at upcoming online qualifiers for tournaments after The International 2025. Stay tuned to our social media for updates!
