VP.G2A won against Team Spirit in The Kiev Major qualifier

Team Spirit was Virtus.pro’s second opponent in the group stage of The Kiev Major qualifiers. Earlier, VP.G2A had won confidently against Hive-.

Team Spirit took the first blood. Slow positional play by both teams allowed Virtus.pro G2A to gain a gold advantage over the opponent. As in the match against Hive-, VP.G2A focused on destroying the first line of towers. Team Spirit brought the game back to equilibrium with successful teamfights, and then finished Roshan who Virtus.pro had been planning to take. The Bears immediately responded with a quadruple kill and took the aegis. After destroying more of the opponent’s towers, VP.G2A attacked the high ground, forcing Team Spirit to surrender.

Team Empire will be VP.G2A’s next opponent. The match will be played March 10 at 17:30 CET.
