Virtus.pro takes 5-6th place at The International

Our Dota 2 roster has lost to Team Spirit in the 4th round of the Lower Bracket of TI10 and claimed 5-6th place in the tournament. The Bears have repeated their best result and earned $1,400,600.

Sergey Glamazda, Virtus.pro CEO:

“Our journey at The International 10 comes to an end.

It's always sad to leave TI without the Aegis, but our guys have played well and managed to achieve a good result. And furthermore, I'm proud for the level of CIS Dota that gave us this incredible derby of our two best teams. The boys from Team Spirit put up a good fight and they have our respect.

This tournament is the event to remember, and also a test of character. A little less than a year ago the players from VP.Prodigy had moved to the main roster. All their time and efforts have been dedicated to qualifying for their first TI ever since. TI is a school of hard knocks that leaves a mark in every player, and today they leave it as different persons with a lot of experience.

I want to thank our fans and everyone who watched the games and cheered with us. Your incredible support and emotions motivate us to keep working hard and aiming for the further victories.

Today we leave The International, yet we continue to cheer for Team Spirit and the CIS Dota.”
