Virtus.pro extend contracts with Rainbow Six Siege roster

Virtus.pro announce the extension of contracts with the players representing the club in Rainbow Six Siege. The new agreement with the roster is set for two years.

In addition, there will be changes in the coaching staff: Eugene "Zheka" Bokhanov will transition to the role of analyst, while Eugene "karzheka" Petrishin, who previously played for the club and worked with the roster as a second coach, will take on the role of head coach.

Nikolai Petrossian, CEO of Virtus.pro:

"Last year, our roster achieved the best results in the club’s history in this title, finishing in the top 3 several times at major tournaments, including the Six Invitational. Extending contracts with the players was an important task at the start of the year, and I’m glad that we have reached an agreement.

As for the changes in the coaching position, they are necessary for the team’s continued progress. Zheka was the head coach for two years, and he has great ideas and concepts, but we need a fresh perspective on the game. The new coach, karzheka, has extensive experience at the highest level, having won major tournaments as a player and being familiar with the nuances of competitive matches. He has already worked with the team as a second coach and will now have the opportunity to implement his ideas as head coach.

Eugene "karzheka" Petrishin, Virtus.pro Rainbow Six Siege coach:

"I’ve already played for the Bears as a player, so adapting to this new role should be easy. We’re on the same page with the guys, everyone has a good understanding of the game and a huge desire to win. Root for Virtus.pro!"
