Virtus.pro will play in the new season of the Continental League

For the first time in the history of CIS eSports the new LCL season will be held offline.

Virtus.pro replaced Team Empire. Our team bought the league participation rights from Vaevictis eSports. The latter, according to league rules, could not own two LCL-competing rosters.

The league format remains mostly unchanged:

• 8 teams will play two best-of-1 matches with each opponent;
• 4 best teams will advance to the playoff stage. Two teams at the bottom of the bracket will have to play in Promotion Tournament against the finalists of Challenger Series;
• all playoff matches are best-of-5;
• 2 teams will advance to Grand Final which will decide who will be the champion of the CIS in each split;
• each split's champions will be able to take part in prestigious international tournaments;
• the prize pool of each LCL split amounts to 4,5 million rubles.
