Virtus.pro lost to PSG.LGD at TI8 playoffs

We're taking the fight to the Lower Bracket!

The first game started off with a more calculated approach from both sides. Both teams respected each other's strengths, but LGD were more successful in their advances on VP's structures. The first Roshan was claimed by the Chinese line-up. Virtus.pro managed to gain the upper hand in the fight around the 23rd minute and took out the Aegis. Feeling more and more confident, VP won a series of teamfights and turned the tide of the game. However, an overextension by VP caused them to lose a crucial teamfight without buybacks, allowing PSG.LGD to cement their victory after a single teamwipe – 0:1.

The second game's early was a multitude of back-and-forth skirmishes. The Chinese roster emerged victorious from a series of fights and took the first Roshan. After losing multiple heroes in the first massive teamfight of the game, Virtus.pro lost a lane. The losses were too great for our team to continue contesting the second Roshan, so the guys had to turn their attention to turtling inside the base. PSG.LGD continued restlessly pushing the advantage, absolving VP of the entire set of outer structures. In a couple more pushes, LGD breached VP's inner defenses, forcing our team to concede – 0:2.
