Virtus.pro receives a Wild Card EPICENTER 2018 invitation

The organizers of EPICENTER 2018 CS:GO series have invited Virtus.pro to take part in its LAN-qualifier stage, which will take place 22 October in Moscow. The Poles will face the winners of the regional CIS, Europe, America, and Asia qualifiers for the right to advance to the tournament main stage.

Virtus.pro are the two-time finalists of EPICENTER CS:GO series. Previously, Virtus.pro faced SK Gaming in the last year's grand final, with Dignitas being our highest stage opponent in 2016.

Only three teams out of five will advance from the Wild Card. The lineup with the highest HLTV.org rating as of 19 October will secure themselves a slot by default, and two other spots will be decided via double-elimination series. The qualifiers will take place 22 October. The European team ENCE eSports have already secured themselves a slot by finishing their regional qualifier in the first place.

EPICENTER 2018 Group Stage will be held 23-25 October. “Legends Park” (previously known as “VTB Ice Palace”) will host the series' Moscow playoffs. The tournament's prize pool - $300 000.
