Virtus.pro and Team Spirit will play a show match at Betway

Our Dota 2 roster will play Team Spirit as part of the third show tournament in the Betway Arena King of the Hill series. Natus Vincere was originally to be Virtus.pro G2A’s opponent, but the organization announced at its official website that it was pulling out of the match.

The match, in a Best-of-5 format, begins 19:00 CET on March 27.

Per the format of the Betway Arena King of the Hill series, the winner of a tournament is to play in the next stage against a new opponent. Betway Arena King of the Hill #2 was won by Evil Geniuses, who have however been unable to take part in the third round of the series.

Betway is planning to hold a total of five Arena King of the Hill mini-tournaments. Two teams compete in each of them, facing off in a first-to-three-wins format. The winner receives $4,000 and a spot in the next stage, while the loser leaves the series with a thousand dollars. Evil Geniuses won the first two tournaments, defeating compLexity Gaming in the first one and Team Onyx in the second.

Three hours before the beginning of the show match, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev will be helping F.R.I.E.N.D.S. as a stand-in at ProDotA Cup Europe #16.

Update: F.R.I.E.N.D.S. will play with their full roster.
