Virtus.pro roster for Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 Playoffs

Virtus.pro player FL4MUS will not be able to participate in the upcoming playoff matches due to visa restrictions.

Timur “FL4MUS” Marev received a short-term, single-entry visa valid for two weeks, expiring on February 10th. However, his actual stay in EU countries is limited to 10 days, which ends on February 5th. We have secured a new two-year visa for him, which will take effect on February 11th, but unfortunately, it does not resolve the current situation.

Under these circumstances, we are forced to arrange his urgent departure from the Schengen Zone, as we cannot risk his visa history. This was a difficult decision, but we firmly believe it is in the best interest of both the player and the team.

Nikolai Petrossian, CEO of Virtus.pro:

"We did everything possible to allow FL4MUS to compete in the decisive matches, but unfortunately, bureaucratic restrictions proved stronger. We explored every possible option and consulted legal experts, but this was the only viable decision. We always prioritize the long-term interests of our players and cannot allow Timur to face potential visa issues in the future because of this situation.

The team will compete with Timur in the lineup for the next tournament — PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, starting on February 14th — as visa restrictions will no longer be an issue. His new visa will be valid for two years beginning February 11.

In this difficult situation, Nikolay mir Bityukov stepped in to support the team. We are grateful for his readiness to join the roster as a stand-in for these crucial matches. We parted ways on good terms last year, and his willingness to help Virtus.pro in this situation means a lot to us. Kolya had quite the journey getting to Poland, so we decided to hold off on officially announcing him until he arrived in Krakow. His experience and professionalism will be a key factor in the upcoming games, and we are confident he will make a significant contribution to the team’s performance."

Virtus.pro continue their preparations and look forward to the fans’ support during this important moment.
