Reserve Virtus.pro player for Singapore Major 2021

Several days ago our Dota 2 first roster player Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko started feeling sick: his body temperature increased and he felt constantly tired. We ran diagnostics and proceeded with immediate symptomatic treatment. Egor and all of his teammates tested negative for COVID-19. Right now his condition is stable and he is isolated from the rest of the team feeling better day by day. We are monitoring his dynamics and doing everything we can to speed up his recovery.

Due to current health conditions Egor is unable to take part in training sessions with the team which can affect our preparations for the upcoming Singapore Major. We made a precocious decision to add a potential stand-in to our roster application — Igor “iLTW” Filatov. This choice was well considered: we have gone through all our options and all the players voted for him. Igor has already begun to practice with the team and is ready to bring his A-game. We are grateful to iLTW for his willingness to help us out in our situation.

We have more than a week left until our departure to Singapore. The goal is to have Egor fully recovered by the time and participate in the Major with our original roster. We will keep you posted on this situation.
