pashaBiceps: "If it’s working for biceps, it’s working for headshots"

The most muscular player on our CS:GO roster answered our presenter Maria Yermolina’s questions live on VP’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

— Kiev has always welcomed you warmly. How would you describe the atmosphere at tournaments here?

— It’s always good. We feel like in Poland here, like in Warsaw. The only thing I don’t have here in Kiev is my family and my dog Negev. But everything else is very good. Same food, same people.

I’ve found a gym in town, 2 or 3 km from the hotel. Taxi drivers always want to cheat me out of money. They want 5,000 hryvnias, when it costs 15. I’ve met cheaters in my life, but I have experience, so they don’t mess with PAPA.

— Not so long ago, you had a duel with olofmeister, which you lost with a narrow score. Who else would you like to play a 1v1 against?

— Some guy from North wanted to play with me 1 on 1 and I said of course. I always say yes. You need to know who this guy is. This guy was a goalkeeper. 10 or 15 years ago, he was a goalkeeper and he looks like Oliver Kahn. You  know who Oliver Kahn is in Counter-Strike, brothers? He’s a guy from North. He is the son of Oliver Kahn. And I will play against him 1 on 1.

He is a very good player. One of the most skilled masters in the game. Not like Wiktor Wojtas yesterday, but he always has a potential. But Oliver Kahn can be good in a 1 on 1 match. Time will show us how it will be.

— In Atlanta and Vegas, people were witnesses to pashaBiceps’s “comeback”: how were you able to return to your old playing form?

— It’s always small times, when you need to think about your game, you need to change your mission, you need to be more focused on the game. My father give me an example of what to do. You need to watch your emotions, your thoughts. So it’s a lot of stuff. You need to remember that everything is in head. I always say it’s mindgames. If it’s working for biceps, it’s working for headshots, easy.

— You’ve upgraded your computer and started to stream again. How often do you plan to please your fans with your livestreams?

— For me, streaming is not that easy. It’s very hard. I want to stream like 3 times a week. I start from 1, after one week I start 2, and I want to finish with 3. 3 is for vacation time, but 4 its maximum. Because you know I have a lot of stuff to do outside the game. So it’s not that easy. Sitting in front of computer 15 or 20 hours like other nerds. As you all know, I’m Papa Biceps.

— Snax’s and NEO’s pets have already taken a liking to their new Virtus.pro chairs. How did Negev feel about the chair?

— My chair is only my chair. Negev can watch me from the couch. But the chair is mine only and no one can sit there. The king’s chair is the king’s chair. Maybe my daughter, when she’s older, will deserve the right to sit in my chair. Also my dream, Papa’s dream, is that she becomes a professional tennis player. And someday she will bring a trophy home.
