"Snax is an in-game leader now." — TaZ about Cologne, team, and family.

In the interview to DBLTAP Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas told about Virtus.pro’s morale and compared the team’s opportunities with spices that you need to pick correctly.

“Last year we also had this slump. It lasted five months until we won StarLadder. At this moment this will be the fifth month of our slump, so fingers crossed, right? It’s happening now. We got relegated from ESL Pro League and couldn’t go for the group stage of three tournaments in a row. We went to Atlanta and won the first map in a dominating fashion, and then we got destroyed on the other maps. I clearly have no idea what happened to us during the tournament because when we were preparing and doing stuff, it really looked great. What you saw during this event was only a sneak peak of what we can do nowadays.

Snax is an in-game leader now. He has a lot of fresh ideas. But we have also changed so much stuff in the game when it comes to positions, players going in and out. pashaBiceps is back to sniping. It’s just tough to get hold of all the changes we did. My fingers are crossed that it’s not going to fail us and we will bounce back in Krakow.”

“My wife is always pushing me to play. She says that I should play more, I should go to every event. She’s just happy for me that we succeed in playing competitively. I have all the support I need. I’m motivated and very happy to play. It’s not about me just staying here to play as much as I can even if I suck as hell. When I feel that I’m a very bad player and I can actually step up or resign, when I feel I’m a problem for the team or any player in the team, we have this kind of an agreement approach.

We do not think about cutting players or changing the line-up. We are grown-ups and we know when there is a big problem and we need to change something, we always go back to different aspects. We have so many resources in our team. We have four players who can lead the team: kuben led the team back in CS 1.6. I led the team. We have a lot of resources and the players are really versatile. We have so much stuff to use and maybe we need to use different spices sometimes, and maybe this time the spices are wrong.” — said TaZ.
