On top of the world: Virtus.pro and EWC keep pushing the limits

Driven by the idea of going beyond the ordinary, we played PUBG MOBILE mid-air — during an actual paragliding flight.

Hundreds of meters above the ground, in the scenic Charvak mountains near Tashkent, we completed the second challenge in our series of extreme experiments with EWC.

The challenge was taken on by Alexander “MILKYWAY” Trishin and local esports player Muhammadali “EZ4BADBOY” Botirov. The two faced off in this high-altitude match to test both their own focus and the capabilities of the gear under completely unconventional conditions.

After a long preparation process — securing all the equipment and testing the setup — we hit an unexpected obstacle: strong winds picked up, and the pilots refused to take off. We ended up waiting for several hours until the weather finally gave us a small window. As soon as we got the green light, we took off.

Our players went head-to-head in TDM mode on their smartphones, connected to routers packed into the pilots’ backpacks. Even when the wind started tossing the paragliders around and ping spiked to 120 and beyond, Sasha and Ali held on to their phones and kept playing — the PUBG MOBILE match went down to the very last bullet.

The prep took several hours. The flight itself lasted just over 15 minutes, but it gave us enough adrenaline for a full-length movie. We captured a match that was intense, unpredictable, and truly spectacular. Challenge two — complete.

Watch how it all went down on the Virtus.pro YouTube channel.

The third and final challenge is coming up — and it’s going to be the wildest one yet. Stay tuned to our socials. Things are about to heat up!
