“The Bears” help homeless animals

Virtus.pro esports club and “Yuna” rehabilitation center for temporarily homeless animals are running a charity campaign. A photo of fosterlings from “Yuna” has been posted on the club's Instagram page. Per each repost, Virtus.pro will donate 50 rubles to “Yuna”.

Sergey Glamazda, Virtus.pro CEO:

“Our goal is not only to donate money to the rehabilitation center, but also to attract attention to the matter of homeless animals. That is why we are linking the donations to the reposts. Hopefully, our campaign will help to cover at least a part of the fostering costs, and also succeed in finding these wonderful creatures their forever homes.”

Polina Ryhovskaya, PR Manager of “Yuna”:

“Every donation matters when it comes to helping homeless animals, no matter how small it may seem to you. 100 rubles is the equivalent of cat food for one day; 1000 rubles allows for animals to get tested for the most essential things and could potentially save lives; 3000 is a cost of sterilization. Not to mention the bowls, leashes and other veterinary supplies that are needed every day.

We hope that this campaign will raise awareness on this issue and support our center financially, and also introduce the followers to our fosterlings. Maybe there’s your future friend anong them?”

The campaign will last from 4 to 11 of February. By the end of it Virtus.pro will count the number of reposts and publicly display the amount of money to be donated to “Yuna”. At this moment over 300 cats and dogs are being stationed there, and the total number of animals that have found their forever homes with the help of the center is over 1500.
