DrHippi has become the runner-up of BlizzCon 2016

Our Hearthstone player Artem “VP.G2A.DrHippi” Kravets placed second at the 2016 Hearthstone World Championship, which took place at this year’s BlizzCon in Anaheim.

 

During the tournament Kravets defeated Edwin “HotMEOWTH” Cook and Kim “Cheonsu” Cheon Su. He faced the Russian player Pavel “Pavel” Beltyukov in the grand final and lost with a score of 4:2.

Dr.Hippi won $150,000 as the second place winner.

2016 Hearthstone World Championship finals were held from October 26 to November 5. There were 16 participants, who qualified for the event by winning the winter, spring and summer regional offline championships or the last chance qualifier. The prize pool of the tournament amounted to $1,000,000.
