Virtus.pro Dota 2 Coach at EWC

As part of our preparation for the Esports World Cup 2025, Artem “fng” Barshak has joined our Dota 2 roster as the team’s coach.

Artem “fng” Barshak, Dota 2 coach at Virtus.pro:

“It’s a great honor for me to work with Virtus.pro again as a coach. I’ll do my best to share my knowledge and energy with the players to make sure they feel confident at every stage of EWC.”

fng has played over 800 maps under the Virtus.pro banner and has coaching experience with the Bears at The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier. Last year, he wrapped up his career as a player in the main roster and has officially represented the club as an ambassador since March.

Georgy “drAmer” Faleev, Head of Dota 2 at Virtus.pro:

“Ahead of EWC preparations, Virtus.pro management discussed with fng the possible formats of his involvement with the roster. Together we agreed that Artem’s experience, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities – which he can share with the players in the role of a coach – will be a key factor for the team in Riyadh.

He has already been actively working with the team for several weeks as part of our EWC bootcamp. For now, all the focus is on the tournament in Riyadh, and the decision on his long-term role as a coach will be made after the event.”

The Bears will play their first match at the Esports World Cup Dota 2 tournament on July 9th. Follow our social media for updates and support Virtus.pro!
