8 memorable moments of TI7 that are a must watch for all VP fans

During group stage Virtus.pro demonstrated plenty of amazing and skillful moments, but some of them are simply meant to be re-watched.

Virtus.pro [2:0] HellRaisers (second game)

During the second game VP found themselves in quite a dire situation – 11-22 score and 10k difference in gold left them almost no room for victory, let alone for mistakes.

Knowing that, HellRaisers decided to put an end to this match at 46 minute mark, but their execution of the highground push was quite sloppy: instead of convincing victory for HR, VP massacred them and turned the tables completely, resulting in a win for Virtus.pro.

Virtus.pro [2:0] OG

One of the most memorable moments from group stage, indeed. Stakes were high: OG already claimed victory back in the finals of The Kiev Major 2017, so VP were out for revenge.

Early game was incredibly fast-paced. Virtus.pro managed to grab the lead from the start and were in position to end the game on 24 minutes mark, but decided to play it safe and retreat after eliminating OG's buy-backs.

After their defeat on the first map, and sub optimal start of the second map, OG attempted to tie the match by quite reckless attack in Roshan pit. VP, however, were ready for this and met them with superior firepower, all while grabbing Roshan.

Virtus.pro [1:1] Invictus Gaming (first game)

Teams clashed in deciding match of group B: if either team (iG or Virtus.pro) were to win, a rematch would be guaranteed. But in case of a tie, OG would advance to Lower Bracket.

First game started as equal struggle. No team managed to take a clear lead over their opponent during the early game. IG's attempt to ensure the lead by ganking Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko failed spectacularly, thanks to his and Alexei “Solo” Berezin's beautiful play.

VP managed to capitalize on iG's misplay and grab the lead, turning the match to a tie.

Virtus.pro [1:1] NewBee (second game)

One of the key moments of the match was a teamfight near Roshan pit, which opened the door to victory for Virtus.pro.

NewBee attempted to ambush Virtus.pro G2A when they were taking Roshan. If they were to succeed, tides would be turned in favor of the chinese team. Unfortunately for them, VP's quick play sent 4 NewBee heroes respawning at home, and clean up followed shortly afterwards.

Virtus.pro [2:0] Digital Chaos (first game)

VP's debut match was finished with a convincing victory for our team, but it did have a fair share of crazy moments.

Vladimir Minenko was ganked by three DC players. Even in this dire situation, No[o]ne made them question their decision by slaughtering two of his opponents alone.

Virtus.pro [1:1] Execration (second game)

VP's loss on the first map of the match left Virtus.pro no choice but to win the second game.

Despite Execration taking the lead in the midgame, Virtus.pro managed not only to turn the tables, but to team wipe their opponents with Pavel “9pasha” Hvastunov boasting the Ultra Kill.

Virtus.pro [1:1] Cloud9 (second game)

Solo positioned himself just right to catch Cloud9 players off-guard during the early game, with his teammates completing the cleanup.

Main hero of this play was Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko – his ambush allowed his teammates to grab 3 easy kills on Cloud9, with gold and experience ensuring VP's victory.
