The new VP.Prodigy mentor

Virtus.pro announced the name of the new coach for the club’s youth CS2 roster. Former professional player Dmitriy "ProbLeM" Martinov takes on this role.

Nikolai Petrossian, CEO of Virtus.pro:

"We are constantly working on improving our system for scouting and training young players, which goes beyond the VP.Prodigy roster. His main task is to help young talents realize their potential. I have no doubt that he has all the necessary qualities for this.

Additionally, with Dmitriy joining, the interaction between the main and youth CS2 rosters will elevate to a new level. VP.Prodigy will delve deeper into the experience and knowledge of their senior colleagues, as well as adopt their champion mindset."

Dzhami "Jame" Ali, captain of the Virtus.pro CS2 roster:

"I see certain progress in VP.Prodigy's playstyle, they have interesting ideas and a decent individual level. These players have good potential to reach tier-1 level in the future. ProbLeM has experience playing at a high level and an analytical mindset, so there's much for the youth players to learn from him."

VP.Prodigy have reached their record-high 80th place in the updated HLTV rankings, which is one of the highest achievements in the world for youth rosters.
